I Antique Online And Artfire....Come Visit Me to See

Hello to all visitors finding LilacsNDreams, those returning, and those passing by. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We did here, and of course the time always goes to fast too. Black Friday? Anyone go shopping for this? I didn't, and have never been to one yet. I spend my day cleaning up after everyone, getting things in order, and trying to get ready for new listings...which I am working on both stores right now:)


Each year the time becomes earlier, and earlier when they start Black Friday at some stores. I had heard of a store that started by midnight on Thurs....sorry, that was Thanksgiving for me, and it shouldn't be forgotten by rushing out to be at a special sale. Thanksgiving is a time to be together with family, friends, colleges, with groups, etc, and sharing a special time that shouldn't be forgotten.

LilacsNDreams ArtFire Shop of Vintage, Collectibles, Gently Used

Hello everyone, and thank you for visiting with me at LilacsNDreams today!:) I won't make this real long as it is late, and I have spent the last few hours on computer trying to catch things up. Hubby is home for a few days, and hogging my computer which is not allowing me to be on the computer all the time, and late night seems to be only time to do it right now. UGH! In a few days the schedule will change again, and I can sit on my computer all day, or hop on & off as I was becoming accustomed to. 

Here is a saying I seen, made a note of, and would like to share with everyone here. I hope you enjoy it, and find meaning in it as I have. 

   " There is nothing impossible because the dreams of yesterday are the hopes of today, and can become a reality of tomorrow! "

Pretty neat when you think about it, don't you think? So, stick to it with all that you do, want to do, and accomplish. We want it, we can succeed!:)

WOW! Where is the time going? My gosh, this month is about 1/2 over with, and I think I seen a count down where Christmas is in 42? days? WOW! I am going to be rushing to get some things done myself. 

So, what is everyone doing for Black Friday? I have seen much advertisements, and announcements about getting items ready for that day, listed, noted, advertise here, and advertise there. Busy busy busy!:)

Everyone ready for Thanksgiving? I am not quite yet. Been getting a few things along the way, but still have a little bit more to do. To me the holidays have always been about Family & Friends, and spending time together. This year is different. I have family in the area, but for some reason I have a disfunctional family. This one is controling, do it her way, if so & so is there I will not be there, etc. The other one....well, let's just say some bridges were burnt pretty bad, and there is much hard feeling there as a result. I usually bite my tongue, go along with things, try to keep peace, and would like to see everyone together, but....this year is different. I would sooo like to be able to enjoy the holidays with no family squabbles, no fighting, arguing, etc. Anyone else like that?:)

2 Sales with ArtFire and Importing to Addoway

Hello again everyone, and glad to see all who have stopped by, found me by accident, passed through, etc. Always good to see someone here, and all are welcomed too:)

This week has been busy with trying to list things with my 1 ArtFire store, and importing things over to Addoway too. Some where in doing all of this I started to question is this the right thing I am doing, will it be any different, is there something I am missing-not seeing-not doing-more I need to do, and you know...thoughts like that. So, when I get like that sometimes, I look over to my board next to my desk. I like to study it as I will keep different inspiring things on there to help boost me when needed. Well, what I have copied above for you is one of them things I read. Once I read that, think about it, and it gives me a little push that I am off again!:) I remind myself that Rome was not built over night, and the same is for any on-line business/seller too. 

Good news this week at ArtFire! I have sold 2 items! Yes, great way to start the week, and 1-2 days later another notice of another sale! WooHoo! Great feeling of accomplishment. So, I started to list more here again. ArtFire is where I am selling my vintage items that I have. Not only do they offer handmade, crafts, many different artists & artisans, they also have vintage too. After visiting my store if you do not find quite what you are looking for, make sure to look with other stores there of vintage, and view some of the great treasures everywhere offered on ArtFire. Also, more good news from ArtFire this week is with an item I had listed. I did a google search for it 24 hrs later, and was amazed at what I saw! I was on page 1 with google, and about 1/2 way down the list was my ad!:) There are many many many who are offering the same thing as I am, and some maybe more reputable than I am too. But, there I was on page 1 ranking...WOW! I fell in love with ArtFire even more!:)

I have spent a lot of time with ArtFire lately because it is very easy to do things there, and a great group of people around there too. But, I have also started importing my items to Addoway from bonanza too. This is a fairly new place yet (2009) with a growing membership of members from everywhere, members with more than 1 marketplace they sell at, but I have also seen members that have quit at bonanza, or who have also ventured off to this place too. So, that is a working progress with that store there as well. They do have pretty good google placements with this place as well which was another advantage along with views:) Great support that is responsive, and is active with facebook & such too.

Something I adore with both of these marketplaces is they are allowing you to also show the other marketplaces you are with too. Yes, you are allowed to show links at both of them, and I think that is great that they openly acknowledge this issue of members selling at more than 1 spot. How comforting, and inviting is that?

Vintage, Collectibles, Dinnerware, Glassware, HomeDecor with Addoway and ArtFire

Hello Everyone, and thanks for visiting LilacsNDreams blog. I have been trying to stay busy with adding some items to ArtFire, which I did get some things in there the past couple of nights. I have also gone to Addoway, and with their new Bonanza importer started to import my items from Bonanza. First time for me to use one of these, and hope it all goes well. I am sure there will be 2-3 items that will be duplicated, but will be an easy fix. Once items import there I will be busy revising, editing, and getting things in order at that store. 

Was taking a break, and thought of stopping by here to keep you a little updated on my marketplace situation, and where I will be selling for the holidays.

ArtFire, eCrater, Addoway . . . . Vintage, Collectibles, Gently Used

Hello everyone, and thanks for visiting me!:) Ok, Halloween is over...here comes Thanksgiving, and soon Christmas. Where is the time going?! 

I am happy to say I made my first sale with ArtFire, and am very happy about it. I have not done much to promote here as I did with Bonanza...and made a sale within about 3 weeks...nice way to end the month, right? And...great way to start the month too. I have been listing more of my vintage items at ArtFire
and have some things with ecrater  but they appear to be having a glitch that is taking like 3-5 days to fix. I don't have time to play, or with glitches, this is the holiday season, and I need my inventory to move so I can restock in the spring....or after 1st of year...friend & I "maybe" might be out treasure hunting & best of all....working on some crafting!:) So, I have also been starting to add some things to Addoway too. So, when ya'll have a chance, stop and visit with the stores I am focusing my listings with right now.
